My Random Thoughts On Beauty

The world holds beauty and truth
One cannot see it with the visible eye
Only through truth within self can someone witness such beauty
Wondering into the mysteries of realm
Walking the path of silent unknowing
Quiet, and calm seeded
Notation of self and awareness can be fruitful

About Me

Andrae Waters (also known as Marcus Wattz) was born at Montgomery General Hospital, MD on August 27, 1982. At the age of 7, his mother Elizabeth Jackson, moved to Washington, DC. Washington, D.C. was at it's highest crime level in the early and mid 90s. Being so far from family and friends, his mother would spoil him with musical instruments. By her doing so, it kept Marcus off the streets. Marcus was also heavy into sports around 10 but his heart was set on music. He would spend countless hours playing the keyboard, and other instruments.

At the age of 12, his mother decided it would be best to move the family to Germantown, MD in pursuit of Marcus’s education and well being. As before, his musical talent still went on thru High School, where he began DJing for local friends and fell right into Music Production. He would then go off to graduate from Seneca Valley High School in 2000 hoping to get into a Music Program within college.

Since Marcus's mother went thru some much in her life as a single mother, he wanted to pay his way through college. Being so, he joined the Marine Corps hoping to gain his college degree. Marcus was stationed in Okinawa, Japan his first year in service and was accomplishing goals for education and music. He met with artists whom shared the same passion in music as he did but the tragedy of 9/11 halted any hope of educational goals due to the urgent crises in national security. September 11, 2004, Marcus separated from the Marine Corps on a Honorable Discharge.

Marcus is living a steady place in life and is focused on his music career. He is currently living in Northern Virginia and making tracks/mixing/recording with local artists and producers hoping to capture listeners around the world…
